Car windows are always bright thanks to water repellent
Many people often experience unpleasant experiences when driving during the rainy season. The view was disturbed because the rain was so heavy. Visibility is also minimal. In order not to feel this disturbance, use water repellent.
Driving a car when it rains requires extra attention. When it rains, water falls on the surface of the car window. Automatically, vision is disturbed. Immediately the wipers were turned on in the hope of sweeping away the water that was interfering with visibility.
Still, wipers often don't help much. The heavy volume of rainwater overwhelmed the wipers. The water seemed to stick to the glass.
The condition of the dirty glass makes the situation worse. The water becomes stronger on the surface of the glass. As a result, vision is disturbed.
As a result, driving is no longer comfortable. Because your eyes have to be extra focused on seeing road conditions. Of course, in such conditions, driving safety is at stake.
If you experience this frequently, it is recommended to use water repellent. This is a special material that functions to keep the glass bright even if water falls on it.
Formulated with special ingredients, water repellent has unique abilities. The material can provide the “taro leaf effect”.
So, by adding water repellent, water will not be able to stick to the glass surface. When it falls on the glass, the water immediately flows so the glass will always be bright.
The key to the unique ability of water repellent is the special formula in it. Functioning as a glass surface coating, its presence is able to provide a “taro leaf effect” in the glass. Thanks to this, the glass remains clear when exposed to water.
Water repellent is easy to find in various auto parts and accessories stores. Usually the product consists of two types, namely liquid and spray. Both have equal abilities. So, please choose according to taste.
To get it, you have to be prepared to spend in the range of tens of thousands of rupiah to hundreds of thousands of rupiah. It all depends on the brand and size of the product.
Apart from the windshield, water repellent can also be applied to the rear view mirror, rear window or side mirrors. However, it is worth remembering, even though it is able to prevent water from sticking to the glass, when it rains, you should not stop using the wipers. The wiper will actually complete the water repellent function because it can sweep water off the glass surface.
HOW TO USE
Using water repellent is fairly easy. You can apply it yourself to the car window. Just provide additional equipment such as two microfiber cloths or a soft cloth. It's better to use a microfiber cloth specifically for glass to ensure that the car window won't be scratched.
How to use it starts by cleaning the glass first. If necessary, clean with water. Then wipe or wait a moment until it dries.
After that, pour enough water repellent or spray it onto the surface of one of the microfiber cloths. Then, apply a microfiber cloth to the glass surface. Rub the glass so that it is coated with water repellent.
For maximum results, it is better to rub in a circular motion. Do this on all the desired car glass surfaces. Once you think it's enough, take a clean microfiber cloth to wipe the car window.
You can immediately try the results by pouring water on the surface of the glass. If you feel it is still not bright enough, you can repeat the application of water repellent.
Then, after using it for a while and its function starts to decrease, reapply the water repellent to the car window in the same way. This will ensure that the car windows will always be bright even if they are exposed to rain. Very helpful, right?
